Wooden sticks are traditional and give you a better feel for the shot. Aluminum sticks are much lighter and let you do better puck handling.

wood- will give you a better feel for the puck well stick handling or taking a pass. wood sticks lose there pop quick and break more often then
composite-cost more, but are worth it. they will hold up better then a wooden stick. you can also find the correct flex for your shot depending on your shot power.
