What is the key to a good slapshot?

Taking the Shot

Proper timing is the key to making a slapshot work. The best place to hit the puck is right in the middle of the stick blade. It is not necessary to have your stick go all the way above your head. As long as you put all your weight into it, you should score with this shot.
